After 20 years teaching photography, EFTI realizes that new young artists do not have a space to exhibit their work. With a purpose of creating this space they created Galería Cero, one of the most fresh and modern art supporters in Madrid, Spain.
As a result of 1404 participants of 71 different countries of Galeria Cero´s Photography Contest, only 20 photographers will exhibit at their gallery on the 17th February at 8pm (Calle Fuenterrabia 13, Madrid).
The gallery is coming up with an exciting International Photography exhibition being their first edition, judged by José Guirao (Director of La Casa Encendida), Mariano Navarro (Art Critic and exhibitions commissioner), Eugenio Ampudia (Artist), Alicia Murria (Director of the magazine Artecontexto and exhibitions commissioner), Ciuco Gutiérrez (Photographer and Director of the Masters degree EFTI) and Agustín Pérez de Guzmán (Director of Galería Cero).
The winner is awarded with 18.000 € and a second price of 3.000 €.
We encourage all to visit the exhibit!
(International Master Degrees at EFTI are open from January 2011.)
